Description
The versatile TitanHP™ high-pressure injection and switching platform is a combination of Rheodyne's 10-port TitanEX low-pressure drive assembly and its "Mighty Valve" liquid end. This design offers you a variety of low-pressure and high-pressure fluid options in a compact single mounting platform to simplify product development.

TitanHP consists of two main parts: the liquid end or "POD" and the driver/actuator. It is available in several materials (see TitanHP Platforms table) as a:

  • Two-Position, Six-Port Valve
  • Two-Position, Six-Port Valve with Vertical Port Injector
  • Two-Position, Ten-Port Valve

Universal Encoders and Multiposition Capabilities: TitanHP incorporates universal multiposition encoder wheels, which means that the same actuator can be used for different PODs. The encoders also provide multiposition capabilities, thus do not limit fluidic solutions to two positions but accommodate multiposition applications using the same platform.

Integrated Driver Board Available: TitanHP is available with a driver board that adds functionality of motor drive without significantly affecting the valve's small footprint. All you need is 24 VDC power and 4-line BCD signals for random access actuations with positive feedback.

DuraLife™ and Biocompatible Wear Surfaces: Rheodyne's DuraLife material extends valve lifetime, which means reduced field service and more customer analysis time between replacements of the wetted surfaces. Biocompatible wear surfaces are also available.

Advanced Composites: The valve actuator makes extensive use of modern material science by employing advanced composite polymers throughout. These highly inert and wear-resistant materials allow the valve to be actuated over the full operating temperature range.

Field Maintenance: The POD design of TitanHP's liquid end lends itself to two easy methods of field maintenance: the POD can be purchased separately and replaced as a unit or Rheodyne's RheBuild® Kits are available for replacement of internal liquid ends.
